Located in Runcorn, United Kingdom, our newly extended 120,000 sq. ft. facility is a fully integrated site offering comprehensive manufacturing, repair, and overhaul services to the major players in the landing gear industry.



Designated as a Center of Excellence, the facility specializes in surface treatment and assembly of small to medium-sized landing gear systems. As a key part of the Centre of Division, the facility supports several global programs, including: Gripen - SAAB, Hawk - BAE Systems, KF21 - Hanwha Aerospace, AW101 - Leonardo Helicopters

Job Summary





Reporting to the Quality Director, the Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for compliance monitoring and product safety, ensuring compliance of both the regulatory authority and customer requirement across the APPH group of companies.


Key Responsibilities




Conduct internal audits across the business in line with the Annual Audit Schedule of product, process, and systems. Collaborate with the Quality Director to establish and communicate the annual Audit Schedule. Input and maintain audit results within Quality KPIs; identify and report trends. Review and update quality processes as necessary. Conduct independent investigations (Human Factors, miscellaneous issues) using RCCA's 8D methodology. Monitor occurrence reporting, perform risk assessments, and communicate results. Promote company initiatives from a quality perspective. Act as Quality System Advisor to various departments, providing guidance, education, and tools, including QCBD maintenance and control. Manage certification stamps and privileges in line with regulatory and company requirements. Prepare and deliver presentations to advise operations on regulatory and customer compliance.

Qualifications & Skills




Essential:




Experience working independently and in teams under time and resource constraints. Computer literacy with MS Office; ability to create spreadsheets and detailed reports. Qualified auditor with aerospace industry experience (advantageous). Knowledge of EASA Part 145 and FAA Part 145 (essential). Understanding of AS9100 / 9110 standards (essential). Knowledge of EASA Part 21 Subpart G and J.
