Job Description

Reporting into the Global Rider Operations Manager, you will be leading the Rider Compliance team, who are responsible for ensuring our riders are compliant and supported while on the road. Your goal is to run an engaged and motivated team while redefining what good looks like.


We want to offer the best rider support in the industry. Deeply embedded within the operations processes of Deliveroo, and Rider Compliance is central to our continued success through its impact on rider retention and rider satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Your role will be pivotal in shaping the rider experience and ensuring compliance across markets.

You will:

Lead and develop a high-performing team

, fostering a culture of growth, engagement, and continuous improvement.

Oversee the day-to-day management

of rider compliance processes, ensuring that all riders meet required standards while on the road.

Execute and coordinate large-scale global projects

, working in close collaboration with Global Operations and local markets to implement standardised compliance pipelines and operational improvements.

Drive strategic initiatives

focused on process optimisation, operational excellence, and the implementation of new compliance frameworks.

Analyse operational issues

to identify root causes, propose practical solutions, and implement changes that enhance team performance and efficiency.

Champion cross-functional communication

, delivering data and insights to stakeholders in clear, actionable formats.
+

Prioritise and manage complex workloads

for yourself and your team, aligning resources effectively to meet business goals.
+

Own and enhance key performance metrics

, including compliance adherence, quality scores, productivity (TP/person), and absence tracking.

Be the voice of the rider

, advocating for their needs and ensuring their experience with Deliveroo is as smooth and supportive as possible.
