The role
A forward-thinking secondary school in Northumberland is seeking a Computer Science / Computing Teacher to join its department. The role includes teaching across KS3 and KS4, with potential KS5 opportunities for experienced candidates.
The school is looking for a teacher who can deliver engaging lessons in programming, computational thinking, and digital literacy, preparing pupils for GCSE and A-Level Computer Science.

163 - 265.92 per day | PAYE | Depending on experience

Key responsibilities
Deliver high-quality Computing lessons across KS3 and KS4
Teach GCSE Computer Science (A-Level desirable but not essential)
Support pupils in developing coding and problem-solving skills
Monitor and track student progress
The ideal candidate
QTS (or equivalent)
Experience teaching Computer Science or Computing at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge in programming and digital systems
Effective classroom management skills
