Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Computer Science ECT looking to begin your teaching career in an inspiring and supportive environment?
An Outstanding Ofsted-rated co-educational secondary school in Sutton (ages 11-18) is seeking a dedicated and creative Computer Science Teacher (ECT) to join their successful Computer Science Department from January 2026.

The Role
As a Computer Science ECT, you will:

• Teach engaging and well-planned lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially Key Stage 5.
• Contribute to the ongoing success of a collaborative and high-achieving Computer Science Department.
• Participate fully in school life, including enrichment activities and extra-curricular clubs.
• Receive tailored guidance, training, and mentoring from experienced colleagues.

Requirements

• Is completing their PGCE or equivalent qualification and will hold QTS by January 2026.
• Has a genuine passion for Computer Science and for helping young people reach their potential.
• Demonstrates creativity, enthusiasm, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Is a strong communicator with excellent classroom management skills.
• Values teamwork and is eager to contribute to a supportive learning community.
