Location: Birmingham
Subject: Computing / Computer Science
Pay: MPS/UPS - 162 to 251 per day (dependent on experience)
We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Computing Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher with a passion for digital learning and innovation in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils
- Plan engaging schemes of work in line with national curriculum standards
- Support pupil progress through effective assessment and feedback
- Contribute to whole-school IT and digital strategy
- QTS or QTLS with a Computing/IT specialism
- Strong subject knowledge and confidence in teaching programming, networks, data, etc.
- A commitment to high expectations and inclusive education
- Enhanced DBS (on the update service or willing to apply)
