GSL Education are seeking a tech-savvy and motivated Computer Science Teacher to join schools in Doncaster (DN2, DN6) from January 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Computer Science (CS) Teacher who enjoys bringing coding, problem-solving, and digital skills to life for students. Flexible placements are available, including both short-term supply and long-term opportunities, providing variety and consistent work.
Role details:
Position: Computer Science Teacher
Location: Doncaster (DN2, DN6)
Pay: Up to 220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start date: January 2026
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
What you'll be doing as a Computer Science Teacher:

Planning and delivering engaging Computer Science lessons
Inspiring students to develop computational thinking and programming skills expected of a Computer Science Teacher
Monitoring progress and providing feedback to help learners succeed
Maintaining a positive and well-organised classroom environment
Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the learning experience

The ideal candidate for a Computer Science Teacher role:

Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Has experience teaching Computer Science at relevant levels
Is confident with classroom management and communication
Holds an enhanced DBS on the update service, or is willing to apply through GSL Education
