Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Computer Teacher to join one of our partner schools The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer science and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. The role is suitable for ECT and Experienced teachers.

Duties

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles. Teach fundamental computer skills, including software applications, programming, and internet safety. Mentor students in their academic pursuits, providing guidance and support in their learning journey. Utilise behaviour management techniques to maintain a productive classroom environment. Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share best practices. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with technological advancements and teaching methodologies.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications Recent experience teaching in a secondary school Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students in learning A commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment A valid DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
