Job Title: Computer Science Teacher - Secondary School

We are working with a well-regarded and forward-thinking secondary school in the Redbridge, that is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join their dedicated team on a supply basis.
The school offers a supportive environment, strong departmental collaboration, and excellent resources to help you deliver high-quality teaching and achieve strong outcomes for students.
What you'll be doing:

• Leading Computer Science teaching across KS3 and KS4
• Delivering the KS3 Computer Science curriculum for Years 7-9
• Teaching GCSE Computer Science (OCR) for Year 10
• Delivering Cambridge Nationals in IT (OCR) for Years 10-11
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons with clear learning objectives
• Assessing progress and providing constructive feedback
• Working collaboratively with the department to maintain high standards of teaching and learning

You'll need:

• Strong knowledge of Python programming, including practical project work
• Experience using augmented reality tools, especially platforms like Assemblr
• Confident delivery of OCR content at both GCSE and Cambridge Nationals level
• An engaging and approachable teaching style that keeps students motivated
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
