Pay Rate: 155 - 220 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join a dynamic and inclusive school in Sheffield (S4). This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who can engage students in the world of computing, coding, and digital innovation, helping them build essential skills for the future.
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages that develop pupils' understanding of computing, coding, and IT concepts.
• Foster a creative and inclusive learning environment that promotes curiosity, problem-solving, and digital literacy.
• Use a variety of teaching methods and technologies to make lessons interactive and accessible for all learners.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop an exciting and relevant curriculum that prepares students for future study or careers in technology.
• Maintain high standards of classroom management, ensuring a positive and respectful atmosphere.

Requirements for Computer Science Teacher:

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
• Previous experience teaching Computer Science at Key Stages.
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for computing and digital technologies.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A commitment to fostering creativity, independence, and achievement in every pupil.
• An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
