Job Title: Computer Science (CS) Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto 220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are supporting schools in the S35 area in welcoming a committed Computer Science (CS) Teacher who can deliver engaging, structured lessons that build digital confidence and practical skills.
As a Computer Science Teacher, you'll inspire students to master problem-solving, programming, digital systems, and online safety, building logical thinkers with essential tech skills.
Key Responsibilities of computer Science Teacher:

• Deliver clear, accessible lessons covering core computing concepts.
• Introduce students to programming methods and digital literacy.
• Provide constructive feedback to aid academic development.
• Use effective behaviour management to maintain a purposeful environment.
• Contribute to planning and assessment within the curriculum.
• Support students in building confidence with technology.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
• Strong understanding of computing and confidence teaching the subject.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• A positive attitude towards guiding learners of different abilities.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• A strong commitment to safeguarding and professional standards.
