Job Title: Computer Science Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto 220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are delighted to recruit a Computer Science Teacher to work with schools in the Sheffield (S35) area, delivering engaging lessons that develop coding, problem-solving, and computational thinking skills.
In this role, the Computer Science (CS) Teacher will plan and deliver structured lessons that encourage logical thinking, creativity, and a strong understanding of digital systems within a supportive classroom environment.
Core Role Expectations:

• Plan and deliver well-structured lessons in line with the computer science curriculum.
• Support pupils in developing coding, programming, and analytical skills.
• Maintain positive behaviour and an effective learning atmosphere.
• Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback as Computer Science Teacher.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school objectives.

What We're Looking For:

• Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching computer science in a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners of all abilities.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
