Tradewind are recruiting! Are you an Early Career Teacher of Computer Science looking for your first teaching role for September 2023 in Manchester?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a qualified teacher of computer science to join a secondary academy in Manchester.

This is a full-time temporary teaching contract suitable for a ECT of computer science to begin their ECT induction.

The school would also consider an immediate start to support the computer science department in June and July.

The Role

Teacher of Computer Science

Five days a week

Delivery of outstanding lessons in key stage 3 and OCR GCSE computer science and Pearson BTEC Digital Information Technology

Positive confident behaviour management skills

Innovative teacher able to adapt lessons to the changing needs of students

The academy are interested in hearing from Early Career Teachers, experienced QTS teachers and further education ICT specialists with experience of teaching computing to children aged 11 to 16.

• Have completed a PGCE or SCITT and hold ECT status or QTS status
• This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
• Provide a CV with full employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
• Have the legal right to work in the UK with no restrictions
