Computer Science Teacher - Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately
These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different secondary school settings. You will be supporting pupils in Norwich and the surrounding areas, delivering engaging Computer Science lessons across Key Stages.
Duties as Computer Science Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging Computer Science lessons following provided plans
  • Teach a range of topics including programming, algorithms, data representation, networks, and digital literacy
  • Support students in developing computational thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Manage behaviour effectively in accordance with school policies
  • Assess and record pupil progress when required
  • Adapt teaching strategies to support learners of varying abilities
  • Contribute to departmental planning during longer-term placements
Ideal Computer Science Teacher:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science or ICT
  • Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire learners across different year groups
  • Adaptable and flexible across different school environments
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
