Job Title: Computer Studies Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Salary Range: 140 - 190 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Time: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Role Overview
As a Computer Studies Teacher, you will teach a range of computing and IT topics, promote digital literacy, and create an engaging learning environment where pupils can build essential technical skills.
Responsibilities as a Computer Studies Teacher:

• Deliver well-planned and engaging Computer Studies lessons.
• Teach computing principles, coding, ICT skills, and digital safety.
• Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
• Manage classroom behaviour positively and effectively.
• Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential.
• Contribute to department planning and curriculum development.
• Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times.

Job Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) specialising in Computer Studies.
• Strong subject knowledge in Computer Studies, ICT, and computing.
• Experience teaching computing at secondary level or similar.
• Excellent communication and classroom-management skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate learners through creative teaching methods.
• An enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
