Salary: 35,000-40,000 per annum



Job Type: Full Time- Permanent



Hours of Work: 40 hours per week

Established in 2017, School of Coding & AI has rapidly ascended to become the UK's largest and most decorated institution in Coding and Computer Science. Each month, we empower thousands of children and adults, collaborating with over 150 schools, colleges and businesses nationwide to deliver comprehensive courses in STEM, Coding, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Business Studies.

WHAT WILL YOUR DAY LOOK LIKE?



Curriculum Mastery:

Design and deliver engaging, high-quality lectures in Computing & Information Technology, ensuring that content is current, industry-relevant and aligned with learning outcomes to support student success.

Course Development & Enhancement:

Continuously review and refine teaching materials, course content and delivery methods to reflect emerging technologies.

Assessment & Evaluation:

Conduct assessment marking in line with institutional policies and provide clear, constructive feedback to support student progression and academic achievement.

Administrative Excellence:

Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance and progress. Prepare plans, reports and documentation to ensure effective course delivery and compliance with quality standards.

Collaboration & Communication:

Liaise with academic peers, industry professionals and external partners to ensure curriculum relevance and enhance employability outcomes.

Team Collaboration:

Work with fellow lecturers and management to develop a cohesive, supportive team that drives the success of the department and student outcomes.

Adaptability & Innovation:

Embrace changes in curriculum or delivery, incorporating innovative teaching methods and tools to meet diverse learning needs.

Professional Development:

Stay informed on evolving technologies, computing trends and educational methodologies to ensure your teaching remains relevant and future-focused.

Other Duties as Assigned:

Undertake additional responsibilities as required to support the department's operational and strategic objectives.

WHAT BACKGROUND DO I NEED TO HAVE?



You will hold a Masters degree or equivalent professional qualification in Computing or related discipline.

First degree or equivalent in Computing or a relevant discipline.

PGCE teaching qualification and/or Fellowship of HEA (or commitment to enrol on a teaching programme during probation period).

You will have previous experience of HE lecturing experience.

You will be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge of three or more of the following areas

? IT Management

? Programming

? Database Systems

? Data Analysis/Big Data/AI

? Cybersecurity

? Cloud computing

? Networking
