We're supporting a forward-focused secondary school on the Bitterne side of Southampton. They are seeking a Computing Teacher to join their team, with a flexible start date - January or Easter 2026. School can be flexible with timeatable and duration.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys delivering Computing without the coding-heavy curriculum. The school follows the Cambridge National pathway, which is practical, structured, and focused on digital skills, projects, and portfolio work rather than programming.

Final-year trainees are also encouraged to apply - especially those able to offer part-time from January, moving into full-time from Easter.

The Role



Deliver engaging Computing lessons across KS3-KS4 Teach the Cambridge National course (practical, project-based, no coding required) Support students with clear, structured coursework and portfolio tasks Foster a calm, inclusive classroom environment Work collaboratively within a supportive team to share resources and ideas

Requirements



Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it (final-year trainees welcome) Experience teaching Computing at KS3-KS4 Confidence delivering the Cambridge National approach Strong organisation, communication, and behaviour management A genuine passion for helping young people succeed in digital learning
