Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Batcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the assembly process within our batching plant, ensuring that all materials are accurately measured and prepared for production.

This position requires product knowledge and proficiency with both hand and power tools, contributing to the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes.

Plant Operation: Operate the concrete batching plant, following established procedures and safety guidelines. Material Handling: Receive, process, and check raw materials (cement, sand, aggregate, water, etc.) ensuring accurate proportioning and stock levels. Batching Process: Oversee the batching process to ensure accurate mixing and delivery of concrete. Quality Control: Carry out necessary tests and quality control measures on the concrete mix. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including daily housekeeping and maintenance of the batch plant and equipment. Safety: Undertake regular safety checks and inspections of the batching plant and equipment. Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of batching activities. Light Maintenance: Undertake light maintenance tasks including housekeeping duties.
Essential:

Some previous experience in a Batching Plant. Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills.
Desirable

Knowledge of concrete mix designs
