Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable
Concrete Laboratory Technician
to join our team. This role is a mix of site-based sampling and laboratory testing. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of concrete, screed, and aggregates across a network of plants.Key Responsibilities
Routine Sampling:
Travel to and collect samples of concrete and screed from multiple plants.Aggregate Testing:
Conduct routine sampling and physical testing of aggregates to ensure they meet required specifications.Compliance Monitoring:
Monitor production levels at each plant to ensure sampling rates comply with industry standards and company protocols.Laboratory Testing:
Perform compressive strength testing on concrete cubes at our Ellesmere facility.Data Management:
Accurately input sample details and test results into our digital tracking system.Requirements
Full UK Driving License (essential for travel between plants). Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict testing procedures. Basic IT skills for data entry. Ability to work independently and manage a daily schedule across multiple sites. Previous experience in construction materials testing is an advantage, but training will be provided.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
