About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive

Concrete Plant Maintenance Technician

to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, reliability, and safety of our concrete batching plant and related equipment. You will carry out preventative maintenance, troubleshoot faults, and perform repairs to minimise downtime and keep production running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on batching plant equipment, conveyors, mixers, silos, pumps, and other machinery. Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues. Carry out preventative maintenance schedules to reduce breakdowns. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Maintain accurate service and maintenance records. Support plant upgrades, installations, and modifications as required. Work closely with production staff to resolve operational issues quickly.
Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in maintenance engineering, ideally within a concrete, quarry, or heavy plant environment. Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge. Ability to read technical drawings and troubleshoot effectively. Welding, fabrication, and hydraulics experience desirable. Flexibility to work outside normal hours if required. A proactive, safety-first mindset and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
