Job Description

Hillhouse Group is a family-owned business operating throughout Scotland. The company is a major supplier of aggregates, asphalt, readymix concrete, concrete products, road surfacing and civil engineering services to the construction industry and civil engineering sectors.

We are currently seeking a Concrete Plant Operator to oversee operations at our manufacturing facility at Soutra Mains Quarry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for plant activities and ensuring efficient production processes.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Effectively operate the batching plant to the standards required. Support a culture of health and safety best practiced by setting a personal example. Ensuring that site maintenance and environmental checklists are completed. Maintain accurate material/stock levels as required. Work closely with maintenance team and contractors. Liaise with management as required regarding delivery, quality and plant issues. Ensure a high standard of general housekeeping.

Person Profile:

Strong communication skills and willingness to take instruction Flexible with working hours Proficiency in using industrial equipment and machinery. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Must be punctual and self motivated.
