Job Description
Willowcrete Manufacturing Company Ltd, are looking to employ a Concrete Production Operative. This is a full-time 5 days per week position, 8:00 am until 4:30 pm (Mon - Fri).
We are a long-established family business, incorporated in 1950, based in Crowther Industrial Estate, Washington. The thriving company employs 25 people, including teams of skilled fence erectors, steel fabricators and concrete production staff.
The desired applicant should possess the ability to work efficiently in a factory environment or production facility.
Job Requirements
:The applicant must be a self-motivated, organised and hardworking, whilst remaining proud to work for our organisation with a desire to offer our customers the highest quality service. You will be required to be a team player who can work calmly under pressure and maintain strong lines of communication.
Proven ability to operate safely and effectively in a medium sized industrial environment. Organised, safety conscious, physically fit and motivated. Ability to work to deadlines and adapt to meet business priorities. Comfortable working outside with the ability to travel to and from Washington, Tyne & Wear without difficulty.

Experience
:Proven experience within a production facility of factory environment (preferred but not essential). Full understanding of health and safety procedures Ability to work with a flexible and lateral thinking approach to problem solving Ability to work unsupervised and also as part of team
Conditions
40 hours per week 8:00 am until 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday (with some overtime hours) Hourly rate of 12.60 per hour.
