These include stadium and training ground facilities, championship golf courses and world class show jumping arenas. At our Mansfield Brick site, we manufacture a wide range of high quality concrete products for house building and flooring.
We have an exciting opportunity within Mansfield Sand to help grow the sales for a new product line we are launching. We are therefore seeking a motivated and dynamic Area Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and fostering strong relationships with clients within the Mansfield area. Your ability to communicate effectively and negotiate successfully will be crucial in promoting our products and services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills and a strong customer service orientation, ensuring that client needs are met promptly and efficiently.
This is a Part-time flexible working role 3 days per week.
Duties
Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities with new customers.
Communicate product benefits and features to potential customers, ensuring they understand the value proposition.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining ongoing client engagement.
Manage time effectively to ensure all appointments and deadlines are met without compromising quality of service.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies that enhance market presence and drive revenue.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and market feedback using IT tools as required.
Requirements
Imperative that you have a background in working with concrete, screeds and mortars
Ideal candidate will be from a building, civils or concrete background
Proven experience in sales or a customer-facing role is preferred.
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
Excellent negotiation skills
Time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
A background in customer service is highly desirable, demonstrating a commitment to client satisfaction.
Proficiency in IT tools relevant to sales tracking and reporting is an advantage.
Adaptable to work with a wide spectrum of customers from corporate, sole trader to end user.
Proven track record in cold calling and tele sales.
