Hillhouse Group is a family-owned business operating throughout Scotland. The company is a major supplier of aggregates, asphalt, readymix concrete, concrete products and road surfacing and civil engineering services to the construction industry and civil engineering sectors.

Due to continued growth, Hillhouse Group are looking to hire a Class 2 volumetric concrete driver, based from our depot in Troon.

The successful applicant will join our team at Hillhouse Group carrying out deliveries on the volumetric concrete mixer, covering Ayrshire, Glasgow and surrounding areas. Due to the technical nature of these machines, experience of volumetric concrete mixer would be beneficial, however not essential as full training will be provided. Once fully trained you will not only be a driver but a machine operator and concrete expert too. We deliver to all customers, domestic and commercial.

Responsibilities

Check volumetric mixer for defects before making deliveries. A keen understanding of technology and problem solving. Adherence to all the relevant safety and compliance regulations. Collaborate with the team to ensure timely delivery schedules. Ensure you have a great attitude when carrying out deliveries to customers. Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle. Good timekeeping and attendance. If a job is over run, you are expected to complete the job. Good knowledge of driving hours.

Requirements

Valid Class 2 license Valid Driver CPC Valid Digital Tachograph Minimum 2 years driving Good Customer Service Skills
Salary: Competitive based on experience with opportunities for overtime.
