At Easter Road home of Hibernian FC, we operate all non-matchday hospitality and events, offering a range of versatile spaces for conferences, meetings, banquets, private celebrations, and community events.
We are seeking a driven Sales Manager to take the lead on growing non-matchday business. This role is ideal for a proactive sales professional with a passion for events, relationship-building, and revenue growth.
As Sales Manager, you will be the driving force behind selling and promoting Easter Road Stadium as a leading events venue in Edinburgh. From corporate meetings and conferences to private parties, weddings, and community events, you'll take ownership of generating revenue, building strong client relationships, and delivering commercial success on behalf of Elior and Hibernian FC.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver a proactive sales strategy to maximise non-matchday revenue across conferences, meetings, private functions, and hospitality events.
Generate new business leads through outreach, networking, and partnerships with local businesses, event planners, and community organisations.
Manage inbound enquiries, conduct client site visits, create tailored proposals, and convert opportunities into confirmed bookings.
Collaborate with operational and culinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of events.
Build strong relationships with the Hibernian FC commercial and marketing teams to align on shared objectives.
Maintain accurate CRM records, provide sales reporting and forecasts, and contribute to regular performance reviews.
Represent Elior and Easter Road Stadium at local networking events, exhibitions, and industry functions.
Assist in the development of event packages, marketing collateral, and seasonal promotions.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in sales within the events, hospitality, or venue hire sector.
Strong knowledge of the Edinburgh area and local market opportunities.
A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
A self-starter with a results-driven mindset and ability to work independently.
Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple enquiries and timelines.
Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office tools.
