About the role:



The primary purpose of this role is provide Quality support to the business ensuring Customer and internal requirements are met in line with relevant standards and accreditations.

Key duties include, but are not limited to:

Receipt, understand and manage the embodiment and implementation of Engineering Change Notices into functional disciplines i.e. instruct BoM changes etc

Facilitate CM audits, act accordingly with outcomes.

Participate in the CCB (Configuration Control Board) with relevant KPI's, ECN actions, ECN closure and relevant issues/actions.

Coordinate and manage across functional representatives to ensure ECNs associated with specific sub systems are implemented.

Contribute to Configuration documentation, used to provide governance and control of project activities i.e. CMP, (change management plan) CSA (Configuration status accounting) and CSR (Configuration status record) documentation in consultation with the Quality department.

Initiate rework/repair orders resulting from Engineering change notices.

Attend manufacturing meetings to ensure embodiment of engineering change

Capture associated costs due to engineering change activities.

Participate in the material review board, providing advice and assessment of materials impacted by the ECN

Communicate Engineering change to the UK supply chain in conjunction with the procurement department.

Ensure that Engineering Change Notifications are embodied throughout functional disciplines responsible for the production of Boxer Mechanised Infantry Vehicles.

Assist in retro fit activities resulting from engineering change notices

Report on KPI's around ECN's

What we're looking for:



Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

Further education in relevant skills

Minimum C/5 in English GCSE & C/5 in Maths GCSE

CM qualification.

Change Management skills within engineering

Ability to ready 2D drawings

3D software
