Although this is an apprentice role, there may at times be some other aspects of construction involved in, which they shall be supervised and trained. When the apprentices are working, they will be supervised by a fully qualified member of staff and will be shown all the correct procedures including health and safety in the workplace. Along with ensuring that their work area is clean and safe, and that all the tools are cleaned and put away correctly at the end of each day.
Person Specification
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to undertake a trade apprenticeship and ultimately gain an apprenticeship in the trade of your choice. The prospective candidate needs to be enthusiastic, punctual, able to take instructions, and reliable. They must be able to cope with the physical side of the role enough to engage in manual labour. They need to have both communication and organisation skills whilst being able to work as part of a team or on their own.
The Apprenticeship and Training Provider
The successful candidates will be enrolled onto the apprenticeship choice with Greenlight Safety & Training. You will attend college 3 consecutive days a month at our centre in Bedminster, Bristol. You will learn your craft with experienced tradesman and work your way to building a successful career in construction.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
There are many different career progression routes within construction, such as becoming a site supervisor or manager. Directly after your apprenticeship, you could be offered another apprenticeship to progress into.
Working Week and Pay
Apprentices will be expected to work a minimum of 30 hours a week and a maximum of 40 hours a week with exception for college.
