A well-established Marine Civil Engineering & Dredging Contractors are seeking to recruit a Construction / Civil Engineering Professional to be based at their facility at North Killingholme, Immingham to assist with the day to day operations of the business and help drive further growth and development.

As a result of continued and sustained growth, they are seeking to recruit a full time and permanent experienced Quantity Surveyor who will be required to

Reporting directly to the Senior Management Team, this is an excellent hands-on opportunity for a proactive and innovative individual looking to further their career in a Marine / Civil / Port Infrastructure environment whilst playing a critical role in managing projects from tender stage, procurement and on site cost control to ensure successful project delivery.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

Civil Engineering / Contract Management / Quantity Surveying Qualification & Experience
Driving License (Essential due to Office location)
Conducting site visits and monitoring project progress
Overseeing procurement of materials and subcontractor services
Analysing and negotiating contracts to ensure value for money
Ensuring all work is carried out in line with Client's expectations
An understanding of construction processes and techniques
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Common sense, dedication, enthusiasm, a hands-on attitude, and a keenness and ability to contribute to the growth of the Company
Basic knowledge of GPS Surveying and conventional Setting Out and Surveying techniques
A base understanding of on-site health and safety requirements with a view to preparing and communicating project method statements and risk assessments in the future
The ability to work and communicate with people at all levels, whilst acting as an interface between senior management and operational staff

Pay: From 30,000.00 per year
