The Contract Administrator plays a key role in our projects by reviewing and managing client contract documentation and internal processes. You need to be detail-oriented, solution focused, highly organised, and familiar with construction processes and contract documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and process pre-construction agreements including subcontractor contracts and purchase orders, and flag risk items and options to Project Managers
Support the PM or sales team with negotiations on contractual terms (payment terms, retentions, LADs, site specific requirements, etc) to reduce risk
Assist in the preparation of tender and pre-qualification documentation.
Support PM with Variations and Site Instructions including re-quoting where applicable
Ensure all pre-construction documents and drawings are complete, compliant, and stored in accordance with company standards and client requirements.
Assist in developing and maintaining contract templates and standard operating procedures.
Provide administrative support for design meetings, pre-let/pre-contract meetings, and contract negotiations and collation of project info packs
Generate project documentation such as PQQs, O&Ms, POs, RAM, etc
Manage construction data such as COBie & CO2 Emissions tracker
Qualifications:
Previous experience in construction contract administration
Familiarity with construction documents, terminology, and project phases
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage conflicting deadlines
Advantage but not essential
Experience with construction management portal (A-site, Aconex, Procore etc)
Ability to read architectural drawings and technical specifications
Ability to amend CAD drawings

Pay: 35,000.00-45,000.00 per year
