Construction Fit Out Estimator - Bristol

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Construction Fit Out Estimator to join our growing commercial team in Bristol. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in retail fit out and refurbishment projects, with contract values typically ranging between 500,000 and 5 million. You will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, analysing tender documentation, and supporting the pre-construction process to ensure the accurate delivery of competitive bids.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for fit out and refurbishment projects.
Review drawings, specifications, and client requirements to produce comprehensive take-offs.
Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
Liaise with the design and project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and potential risks.
Prepare tender submissions and present cost breakdowns to management and clients.
Maintain cost databases and support continuous improvement of estimating processes.
Assist with value engineering and feasibility studies.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years' experience as an Estimator in the construction or fit out sector.
Strong understanding of retail fit out and refurbishment.
Experience in projects valued between 500k - 5m.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
