Labourer - Self-Employed

About Us:

Threds Construction is a reputable construction company based in Whitstable, Kent, specializing in high-quality residential and commercial refurbishments. We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking labourer to join our team, for ongoing work in the South East and rest of the UK.

Role Overview:

You will be a part of a team carrying out various construction work on both commercial sites and residential properties, the work will mainly consist of strip out and refurbishment works. This role involves supporting management and trades on-site, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and assisting in various aspects of construction work.

Key Responsibilities

General labouring duties on a commercial sites and residential properties Assisting tradespeople with materials, tools, and manual tasks Loading and unloading deliveries Keeping the site clean and tidy Helping with site set-up and dismantling as required Always follow health & safety guidelines Completing basic paperwork or site forms when needed Communicate and working closely with site managers and other trades

Requirements:

Must be willing to work away when required

Minimum 1 years' experience working on-site or labouring experience Physically fit and able to carry out manual work Reliable, punctual, and hardworking Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions Own PPE (steel toe boots, hi-vis, hard hat, gloves, goggles) Own vehicle Full, clean, UK driving license Willing to travel to the yard/site daily CSCS (preferred) Eligible to work in the UK Good spoken English
