Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in installing rainwater pipes, ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well within a team environment.

Responsibilities

Assist skilled tradespeople in various construction tasks installing rainwater pipes. Prepare job sites by cleaning and clearing debris, as well as setting up necessary equipment. Load and unload materials and equipment from lorries. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area throughout the project duration. Report any safety hazards or issues to the site supervisor immediately.

Skills

Strong physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour for extended periods. Basic knowledge of construction methods and materials is advantageous. Ability to follow instructions accurately and work collaboratively within a team. Good communication skills to effectively liaise with colleagues and supervisors. Familiarity with health and safety regulations in construction is preferred. Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as required.
