Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Duties
Assist skilled tradespeople in various construction tasks Prepare and clean construction sites by removing debris and hazardous materials. Load and unload materials and equipment from lorries. Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.
Qualifications
Previous experience in construction or a related field is advantageous but not essential. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects. Familiarity with basic hand tools and equipment is preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. A valid CSCS card Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
