Duties

Assist with site clearance, including removing debris and organising materials Load and unload building materials and equipment as required Support skilled tradespeople by preparing work areas and handing tools Assist with setting up scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers Carry out manual tasks such as digging, lifting, and transporting materials around the site Follow health and safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure working environment Help with the installation of fixtures, fittings, and other construction components under supervision Maintain cleanliness of the worksite to prevent hazards and ensure compliance with regulations

Qualifications

Previous experience in construction or manual labour is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates Good physical fitness with the ability to perform manual tasks over extended periods Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to safety procedures and risk awareness Reliable with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills Basic understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites is desirable Valid UK driving licence
