We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn on the job.
Duties
Assist skilled tradespeople in various construction activities, including carpentry, masonry, and electrical work.
Load and unload materials and equipment from lorries.
Prepare job sites by cleaning and clearing areas of debris and hazards.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks accurately.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.
Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working atmosphere for all team members.
Skills
Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour for extended periods.
Basic knowledge of construction methods and terminology is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team.
Good communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively.
A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and techniques in the construction field.
