Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with various tasks on construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a vital part in the success of our projects while gaining valuable experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

Assist skilled tradespeople with their tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work. Perform general site maintenance, including cleaning and organising tools and materials. Load and unload materials from lorries and ensure they are stored correctly on-site. Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members. Operate basic construction equipment under supervision as required. Assist with the erection of scaffolding and other temporary structures. Help in the preparation of surfaces for painting or finishing work. Report any issues or hazards to the site supervisor promptly.

Experience

Previous experience in construction or a related field is advantageous but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn. Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is beneficial. A valid CSCS card is preferred but can be obtained upon employment if necessary. Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour for extended periods. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. A proactive attitude towards health and safety practices on-site.
