We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn on the job.
Responsibilities
Assist skilled tradespeople in various construction tasks, including but not limited to carpentry, masonry, and plumbing.
Carry out general site maintenance and cleaning to ensure a safe working environment.
Load and unload materials and equipment from lorries.
Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to safety regulations at all times.
Operate basic construction tools and equipment as required.
Assist with the assembly of structures and installations as directed.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Qualifications
Previous experience in construction or a related field is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when necessary.
Strong physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning new skills.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations within the construction industry is preferred.
