Watson Construction build social and affordable housing across the Northwest, we think outside the blocks!

We are recruiting for a Banksman to join the team on our development at Milltown, Glossop. This is a fixed term contract lasting 16 months.

The rate of pay is 12 an hour

40 hours per week, 7.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

25 day holiday plus 8 UK bank holidays

Reporting to the Site Manager, you must be able to work and perform in a safe and conscientious manner, adapt and complete a variety of labouring tasks included but not limited to;

Gateman and Banksman duties, directing vehicles and monitoring traffic in and out of site Ensure pedestrians are safe and using the correct route Communicating vehicle movements around the site Ensure all safety protocols are adhereed to Keeping outside areas and pedestrian walkways clear and safe through good housekeeping
You must be a good communicator and work well as part of a team.

Previous experience as a Banksman with in date certification is necessary along with , CSCS. Further training and PPE will be provided.
