Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team in St Andrews. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively with others on-site.
Duties
Assist skilled tradespeople in various construction tasks Carry out site preparation activities such as clearing debris and setting up scaffolding. Load and unload materials and equipment from lorries, ensuring safe handling practices are followed. Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to all safety regulations on-site. Participate in the assembly and disassembly of temporary structures as required. Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision, ensuring proper usage at all times.
Experience
Previous experience in construction or a related field is advantageous but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn. Familiarity with basic hand tools and safety equipment is preferred. Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team. Physical fitness is necessary, as the role involves manual labour and lifting of heavy materials. A valid CSCS card
