Contentious Construction Legal Director
International firm | 100k+ | Hybrid working
This is a senior, visible role in a international practice, with a strong disputes pipeline, big-ticket instructions and the backing of a well-resourced global platform.

The role
This is a leadership-level appointment for a contentious construction specialist who enjoys being close to clients and involved in strategy.
You'll be:

Handling complex construction and engineering disputes
Advising developers, contractors, consultants and funders
Working across adjudication, litigation, arbitration and mediation
Leading matters day-to-day and supervising junior lawyers
Playing a visible role in developing clients and referrers
Helping shape the future direction of the disputes practice

What they're looking for

Strong background in contentious construction
Comfortable running your own caseload and leading matters
Experience supervising or mentoring others
Commercial, client-facing and credible at senior level
Likely 8+ PQE, but quality matters more than years
