Overview
A leading construction and maintenance company is seeking an experienced and proactive Construction Maintenance Works Supervisor to oversee and coordinate projects from start to finish. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to lead diverse construction and maintenance works across multiple sites in Devon and Cornwall.
Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations on small construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to optimise workflow and productivity
• Review project plans and drawings to ensure accurate execution
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet deadlines and quality standards
• Conduct regular site inspections for progress monitoring, quality control, and health & safety compliance
• Troubleshoot technical issues and lead problem-solving during unforeseen challenges
• Maintain detailed documentation of project activities, changes, and safety incidents
• Provide leadership, motivation, and guidance to team members to foster a collaborative work environment

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience supervising construction projects with strong management and coordination skills
• Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Relevant qualifications in construction management or related fields (preferred but not essential)
