Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, with a particular emphasis on electrical experience. This role requires effective leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Coordinate and supervise construction workers and subcontractors, providing guidance and support as needed. Develop project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets, while communicating updates to stakeholders. Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure project specifications are met. Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, including reports on progress and any changes made.

Skills

Proven experience in construction management or a related field. Strong electrical experience is highly desirable. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team collaboration. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members. Proficient in using project management software and tools relevant to the construction industry.
