Our client, is currently seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to join their dynamic team on a contract basis. This role is situated in Plymouth within the construction and highways sector. Or client is a reputable organisation known for their expertise in delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the day-to-day operations of construction projects
• Overseeing project planning and ensuring timely delivery
• Coordinating with various stakeholders including contractors, suppliers, and clients
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Monitoring project progress and implementing corrective actions when necessary
• Preparing progress reports and updating project documentation
• Managing project budgets and resources efficiently
• Maintaining a high standard of quality control throughout the project lifecycle

Job Requirements:

• Significant experience in construction management, particularly within the construction and highways sector
• Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and materials
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and within tight deadlines
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Relevant construction management qualifications or equivalent experience
