Construction Solicitor | 1-3 PQE | Leading National Firm | Birmingham/Hybrid BCL Legal is delighted to be assisting a leading commercial law firm, with the recruitment of a Construction Solicitor (1-3 PQE) to join its highly regarded, national Construction team. The Role As a Construction Solicitor in this leading national team, you will: Work alongside recognised experts, advising clients on non-contentious construction projects across multiple sectors. Gain hands-on experience in drafting and negotiating construction and engineering contracts, including JCT and NEC forms, as well as supply chain and professional appointments. Support on major national projects in healthcare, education, housing, regeneration and infrastructure, including new hospitals, university campuses and large-scale housing schemes. Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines on complex, high-value matters for clients such as government departments, local authorities, NHS Trusts and major developers. About You To be successful in your application for this Construction Solicitor role, you will have: 1-3 years' PQE in construction law, ideally with experience of non-contentious or mixed construction work. A solid grounding in drafting and negotiating construction contracts (JCT/NEC) and an interest in developing deeper sector expertise. Strong communication and client relationship skills, with a commercial and pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
