Head of Non-Contentious Construction - Senior Associate - International Law Firm, London
A top-tier international law firm is seeking a senior non-contentious construction lawyer to lead its London Construction practice. This is a high-profile leadership role within a prestigious Real Estate and Projects group, offering the opportunity to shape and grow the team while maintaining involvement in complex, high-value matters.
The practice advises on major UK and international development, infrastructure, and engineering projects. Work includes drafting and negotiating complex construction contracts (including JCT, NEC and FIDIC), project procurement strategies, development and forward-funding arrangements, professional appointments, and collateral warranties. Clients include developers, institutional investors, contractors, consultants, and public-sector bodies.
This role is particularly suitable for an individual with previous Partner experience or 12+ years PQE who is ready to take on a strategic leadership position, but within a smaller team servicing an existing work stream. You will have the platform to drive client relationships, develop the practice, and lead a high-performing team, while maintaining direct involvement in high-value, strategically important matters.
