Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of construction projects. You will be responsible for managing documentation, coordinating communications, and assisting with various office tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a solid background in administrative functions, contributing to the overall efficiency of our construction processes.

Responsibilities



Manage and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and reports. Coordinate communication between project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure all parties are informed. Assist in scheduling meetings and preparing agendas for project discussions. Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently to maintain up-to-date records. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, providing information as needed. Support the preparation of financial documents using Xero and Microsoft Office applications. Organise files and records in both physical and digital formats for easy access. Assist with clerical tasks such as typing correspondence, filing documents, and maintaining office supplies. Ongoing development of our training and Health & Safety programmes.

Skills



Proven office experience with a strong emphasis on administrative support. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Excellent phone etiquette with strong communication skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Accurate typing skills for efficient data entry and documentation preparation. Familiarity with Xero is advantageous but not essential. Previous clerical experience is preferred to ensure familiarity with office procedures.
