Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director / Senior Planning Engineer to lead and manage the planning and execution of mission-critical data center projects. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of data center infrastructure, strong project controls experience, and proven leadership in managing high-value, technically complex projects.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera P6 for effective project scheduling and tracking. Collaborate with project teams to develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Conduct thorough construction estimating to ensure accurate budgeting and financial forecasting. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure seamless communication and project alignment. Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements. Monitor project progress and performance metrics to identify potential risks or delays; implement corrective actions as necessary. Foster a culture of safety on-site by adhering to safety protocols and promoting best practices among team members.

Experience

Proven experience in senior project management roles within the construction industry. Proficiency in using construction management software such as Primavera for effective project execution. Strong understanding of construction site experience with the ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Demonstrated expertise in contracts negotiation and management within the context of construction projects. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. A solid foundation in construction estimating techniques is highly desirable.
