Job Description

Groundshore Limited is a leading UK provider of

sheet piling, shoring systems, Movax piling rigs, welfare units and heavy civil engineering equipment

. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an

experienced Plant Fitter

to maintain, repair and fault-find across our extensive fleet.

You will be responsible for keeping our plant

reliable, safe and earning

, working both in the depot and occasionally on live sites.

Key Responsibilities

Servicing, maintaining and repairing Groundshore plant and equipment Diagnostics and fault-finding (mechanical, hydraulic and electrical) Working on heavy plant including piling rigs, excavator attachments, welfare units and support equipment Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Breakdowns and reactive repairs when required Pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and LOLER/PUWER preparation Keeping clear maintenance records and reports Liaising with operations and site teams

Equipment You'll Work On

Movax piling rigs & attachments Excavators & heavy civil plant Sheet piling and shoring equipment Welfare units, generators, lighting and ancillary equipment HGV-mounted and trailer-based plant

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a

Plant Fitter / Heavy Plant Engineer

Strong knowledge of hydraulics, engines and electrics Ability to diagnose faults independently Welding and fabrication skills (advantageous but not essential) Full UK driving licence (essential) Reliable, organised and takes pride in their work Comfortable working in a fast-paced, professional environment
