Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate various construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent time management skills, and proficiency in project management software. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, objectives, resources, and deliverables. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. Monitor project progress and performance, identifying any potential issues or delays and implementing corrective actions as necessary. Conduct regular site visits to assess work quality and compliance with safety regulations. Prepare and present project updates to senior management and stakeholders. Ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained prior to commencing work. Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations. Proficiency in project management software Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and manage conflicts. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Relevant degree or certification in construction management or a related field is preferred but not essential.
