Lucas Construction is seeking a highly organised and proactive
Bilingual Construction Project Manager (Polish & English)
to lead and coordinate residential and commercial construction projects across London and the South East. This is a vital role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high safety and quality standards.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills in both
Polish and English
, enabling them to liaise effectively with diverse site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers. You must also have proven experience in
tender preparation and procurement
,
tender analyses prior to bid submission to ensure all elements are costed correctly by the QS/Estimator
,
monthly valuations
, and be proficient with
Bluebeam
and
Microsoft Excel.
Manage all stages of construction projects, from program of works, mobilisation through to completion and handover.
Communicate fluently in both
Polish and English
to manage multilingual site teams and liaise with suppliers.
Lead tender procurement processes: prepare tender documents, analyse bids, and support contract award.
Handle procurement of materials and subcontracts, including managing long-lead-time items.
Conduct regular site visits and ensure compliance with H&S policies, risk assessments, and construction regulations.
Prepare and submit
monthly valuations
, payment applications, and project cost reports.
Use
Bluebeam
to produce accurate digital take-offs and measurements.
Maintain organised project documentation and reporting including programs, variations, and handover packs.
Assist with various administrative duties and ad hoc project support.
Proven ability to deliver projects with values ranging from
500,000 to 3 million
.
Excellent leadership, organisational, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in project management and procurement software
Degree-qualified in construction management, civil engineering, quantity surveying, or a related discipline.
Fluent in both Polish and English
(verbal and written communication is essential).
Strong experience in
tender procurement
and managing project finances.
Proficient in
Bluebeam Revu
for digital take-offs.
Advanced
Microsoft Excel
skills (formulas, pivot tables, cost tracking).
In-depth knowledge of UK construction methods and regulations.
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Manager in the UK Residential construction industry.
Excellent leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Based in or able to work full-time in the head office -
