Key Responsibilities:
Manage multiple projects - create a brief, develop a pre-construction plan to coordinate the activities of the consultant team and appointed contractors.
Set project objectives and regularly review progress to ensure performance requirements and milestones are met to achieve the target for start on site.
Work closely with all stakeholders to minimize costs while ensuring optimal design of both internal and external factors.
Ensure the highest standards - adhere to business procurement policies and procedures when engaging and appointing contractors and consultants to maximize value for money. Ensure all processes comply with internal and external audit standards and legislation.
Provide effective leadership and indirect line management to support, train, and motivate team members to carry out their responsibilities to the highest standards.
Select, appoint, and coordinate the performance of a range of external professional consultants and contractors to ensure successful delivery of the business plan.
What We're Looking For:
4+ years of experience in construction project management (desirable)
Significant experience managing new build housing projects from site acquisition through planning
Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget
Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate multiple multidisciplinary project teams simultaneously
Strong knowledge of construction and commercial/residential building practices
Experience developing and managing budgets and forecasting expenditure
Experience commissioning work and setting supplier standards
Full UK Driving License
Degree in Construction or Project Management -

40,000-55,000 + benefits
